Catering Server/Bartender

We are seeking Catering Event Professional Staff, including service staff and bartenders, to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with restaurant, hospitality, or event experience, though we are happy to train candidates who are eager to learn.

Our events take place throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, and staff typically meet directly at the event location. Many of our team members have been with us for years, creating a welcoming and team oriented environment.

This position offers excellent flexibility, with opportunities ranging from 1–2 events per month to part time or full time work, depending on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food and beverage service for catered events
• Support event setup and breakdown
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and guest service
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams
• Maintain attention to detail during fast paced service
• Stand and walk for extended periods during events
• Transport yourself to events throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern MA (some travel support may be compensated)

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to event venues
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, 6-8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Hospitality or restaurant experience helpful, but not required
• Willingness to learn food safety practices
• TIPS certification welcomed (required for bartenders)

Team members interested in both service and bartending roles may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Compensation & Benefits

• $17–$24 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional $5–$10 per hour on average from gratuities
• Typical gratuities range $50–$175 per event Flexible scheduling, 1-2 Saturdays a month required

Typical event shifts are 4–9 hours and may include evenings and weekends.

Team members who demonstrate reliability and leadership may grow into Lead Server, Event Captain, or Event

Management roles.
