Catering Service Staff

Position Summary

The Catering Services Staff help create great experiences and memories for guests at all events including, weddings, corporate events, private parties, and other catered functions. The Catering Services Staff assist with events from start to finish and bring energy and friendliness to all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and break down catering events
• Assist with food and beverage service
• Serve guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain clean and organized food-service areas
• Clear tables and assist with event cleanup
• Follow proper food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Work closely with the catering team to ensure events run smoothly
• Assist with loading and unloading catering equipment and supplies
• Provide excellent customer service throughout events
• Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership
• Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period
• Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership

Qualifications

• Previous catering, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable transportation, regular attendance, and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong customer-service skills
• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well as a part of a team
• Ability to work flexible schedules – mostly weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in busy, sometimes noisy environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $17.50/hour (opportunities for tips)
