Rate of Pay: £13.49 per hour

Type of Employment: Part Time
Hours: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday, however, must be flexible for earlier starts/ later finishes as the business needs

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our catering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the team during service, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support staff during service
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with menus and dietary requirements whilst the cook is on leave
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
• Train and guide junior team members where required
• Ensure timely service to customers or service areas
• Cover in the catering managers absence, place orders, cash reconciliation & stock take.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory and kitchen role essential
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene preferred)
• Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility and reliability
