• Supporting the provision of quality patient care and Retail Service within Gartnavel Campus

• The Facilities Directorate deliver a variety of services (e g patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, portering, transport) which supports and contributes to the provision of quality patient care

• Knowledge HNC or equivalent experience including 3yrs experience of working in a Supervisory role

• Knowledge of all aspects of Facilities Services with particular focus on Catering services

• Knowledge of Health Safety (training provided e g Working Safely)

• Knowledge of COSHH (training provided)

• Knowledge of Lifting and Handling (training provided)

• Knowledge of Infection Control practices (training provided)

• Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations

• Knowledge of appropriate Quality Standards

• Knowledge of Continuous improvement

• Knowledge and awareness of HR policies and procedures

• Training

• Training in the use of all machinery used (training provided)

• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided)

• Supervisory Skills Training

• Ability to perform all tasks and duties throughout Facilities department

• Experience Experience of Facilities services provision with direct experience in Catering Services

• Working knowledge of Health and Safety and Infection Control

• Good communication skills

• Ability to be flexible adaptable
