Catering Waiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up tables, chairs, tableware, and dining areas before events.
• Welcome guests and provide courteous and professional service.
• Serve food and beverages according to event requirements and company standards.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and proper food presentation.
• Take guests’ requests and respond to their needs promptly.
• Clear and clean tables during and after the event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
• Assist with event preparation, setup, and breakdown.
• Coordinate with the catering team and event coordinator to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter, catering staff, banquet server, or in food service is an advantage.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Well-groomed, courteous, and professional in dealing with guests.

• Able to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible or shifting schedules.

• Willing to travel to different event venues, if required.
