Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced CATIA Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5, Model-Based Definition (MBD), and ENOVIA PLM to support aircraft interior and floor covering component design activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 3D CAD modeling, 2D engineering drawings, MBD/PMI, GD&T, engineering data management, and aerospace design processes. Experience working on Boeing 787 programs or aircraft interior/floor covering components will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D CAD modeling and design of aircraft interior and floor covering components using CATIA V5.
• Develop and maintain Model-Based Definition (MBD) data, including PMI, dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and GD&T.
• Create, modify, and update 2D engineering drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Support design modifications and engineering changes for aircraft interior/floor covering components.
• Manage and update engineering data using ENOVIA PLM.
• Perform product and engineering data releases within the PLM environment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/Checking, and Project teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet aerospace, quality, and customer requirements.
• Complete assigned engineering deliverables within project timelines.
• Support engineering change and configuration management activities.

Education

Bachelors degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Aeronautical Engineering
• Production Engineering
• or a related engineering discipline.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of total engineering experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Aerospace industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, MBD, and ENOVIA PLM.
• Experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation/modification.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering tolerances.
