CBRF Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CBRF Certified Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in personal care homes, assisted living facilities, and within home community care settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
• Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
• Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet individual client needs.

Qualifications

• CBRF Certified and Current
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field such as senior care, personal care homes, or nursing homes is preferred.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate attitude towards caregiving and a genuine interest in helping others.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
• Reliable transportation may be required depending on job location.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
