We are looking for a skilled C/C++ Developer with hands-on U2L (Unix-to-Linux) migration experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, excellent debugging and performance optimization capabilities, and practical experience migrating C/C++ applications from Unix-based environments to Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, debug, and enhance applications using C/C++.
• Perform Unix-to-Linux (U2L) migration of existing C/C++ applications.
• Analyze application compatibility issues and resolve platform-specific code and dependency challenges.
• Debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and resource utilization.
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, builds, and deployment activities.
• Use Git for source code management, version control, and collaborative development.
• Conduct application testing and validation to ensure functionality and stability after migration.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful migration and deployment.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong programming experience in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience in U2L migration of C/C++ applications.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in performance optimization and profiling.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of compilation, linking, build processes, and platform compatibility issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience resolving Unix-to-Linux portability issues.
• Knowledge of memory management, multithreading, and system-level programming.
• Familiarity with Linux development tools, compilers, debuggers, and build utilities.
• Experience in application migration testing and post-migration performance validation.
