CC Service Technician (Based in Butterworth)

The Role:

In Nippon Paint, we have introduced the Colour Creation Machine (CCM) to allow effective creation and matching of colour shades according to customer needs. The machine offers shorter waiting time to obtain desired colour and reduce storage space while providing the widest range of colours.

As a CCM Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for machine installation, system configuration, and carry out scheduled maintenance services at the dealer shops. The role requires strong problem-solving skills as you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving repair requests while working closely with the relevant departments to ensure issues are addressed efficiently.

Below is a synopsis of your job functions:

• Perform machinery installation and system configuration of the tinting machine (CCM) at dealer shops for ensure proper setup and operation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, mechanical, and software-related issues.
• Provide training and technical support to dealers on smooth operation and usage of Colour Creation Machines (CCM).
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and servicing to maintain optimum machine performance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments on repair requests, and maintain proper service records and follow-up actions.

Requirements:

Background:

• SPM / Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering from recognised universities.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year working experience in machinery or electronic services, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge & Skill:

• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Melayu, and local dialects will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge on computer software systems.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
