CCNP/CCIE network engineer

At COMMANDO, you’ll design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Key Roles:

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless devices).

· Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for internal teams and customer escalations.

· Deliver presales and post-sales technical support, including solution design and deployment assistance.

· Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation (user guides, knowledge base articles, and deployment manuals).

· Conduct technical webinars, product training, and demo sessions.

· Produce clear, informative technical videos for customer enablement.

· Assist in network planning, migration, upgrades, and optimization.

· Diagnose and resolve issues related to Layer 2/3, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN, and network performance.

· Collaborate closely with R&D, sales engineers, and channel partners.

· Stay current on networking technologies, trends, standards, and best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

· Minimum total experience: 5 years in network support/engineering roles.

· At least 3 years of hands-on post-CCNP experience in supporting enterprise networks.

· Proven experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment.

· Strong knowledge of routing protocols, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, NAT, firewall concepts, and network monitoring.

· Proficiency with CLI, SNMP, SSH, and common networking tools.

· Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Primary Skills:

· CCNP certified; CCIE preferred

· minimum L2 engineer; L3 level preferred

Secondary Skills:

· Routing protocols, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, NAT, firewall concepts, and network monitoring

· CLI, SNMP, SSH, and common networking tools

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400705: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• CCNP: 3 years (Required)
• CCIE: 3 years (Required)
• L2 engineer: 5 years (Required)
