Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer who can confidently carry out drainage investigations, identify faults and produce accurate, professional reports.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing their daily workload and communicating directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out CCTV drainage surveys on domestic and commercial properties.
• Diagnose drainage defects, including root ingress, displaced joints, fractures, collapses and other structural issues.
• Produce detailed CCTV drainage reports, including accurate defect coding, observations and recommendations.
• Carry out drain tracing and locating using specialist equipment.
• Identify suitable repair solutions, including patch lining, drain relining and excavation where required.
• Complete pre-purchase drainage surveys, condition surveys and fault investigations.
• Provide clear findings and recommendations to customers and the office team.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and accurate job records.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience carrying out CCTV drainage surveys.
• Good understanding of drainage systems, pipework and common drainage defects.
• Ability to confidently operate CCTV drainage survey equipment.
• Experience producing clear and accurate drainage survey reports.
• Ability to identify faults and recommend appropriate remedial works.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• OS19X / OS20X CCTV drainage survey qualifications.
• Experience using WinCan or similar CCTV reporting software.
• Experience with drain tracing and locating equipment.
• Knowledge of high-pressure water jetting and general drainage maintenance.
• Understanding of drain repairs, patch lining and excavation works.
• Experience working on commercial drainage systems.
