CCTV OPERATOR

Job Summary               :

 Responsible of monitoring the activities view on the CCTV on different locations to identify instances of suspicious and unusual behavior.

Scope and Responsibilities:

1.    Operates and monitors all surveillance security systems/cameras within the Control Centre in an efficient manner and in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and best practice;

2.    Ensures that the CCTV system is fully functioning, and that the video footage is recorded and stored appropriately;

3.    Records all events, incidents and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format;

4.    Maintains a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Security Consultant: Joselito Africano and/or COO Office;

5.    Safe keeps recording of CCTV footages for reference of case evidence or as per advised by the Management;

6.    Provides efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries;

7.    Liaises with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence;

8.    Creates of investigation and incident reports of malicious and other inappropriate event notice in the live CCTV monitoring;

9.    Coordinates with head office for CCTV viewing requests from the Plant;

10.  Maintains the CCTV Room cleanliness at all times;

11.  Always checks and makes sure that all monitors and CCTV cameras are up and running at all times.

Education and Training Requirements:

·         Graduate of any 4-year degree

·         With previous employment in the same capacity for at least 2 years

·         Ability to think quickly and logically to respond to emergency

·         Exceptional communication in both verbal and written

·         Perseverance and patience
