CCTV Operator

Job Summary

The CCTV Operator will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras across assigned outlets, offices, and operational areas to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, assets, cash, and company premises. The role requires continuous surveillance, timely identification and reporting of suspicious activities, proper maintenance of CCTV records, and coordination with management and security teams in case of incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance screens continuously during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all critical areas, including entrances, exits, cash counters, storage areas, kitchens, dining areas, parking areas, and other designated locations, are properly monitored.
• Identify and immediately report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities.
• Monitor compliance with company security, safety, and operational SOPs through CCTV footage.
• Maintain a proper log of incidents, observations, and unusual activities.
• Review recorded footage when requested by management, HR, Operations, Finance, or Security.
• Preserve and provide relevant CCTV footage for investigations, disciplinary matters, customer complaints, theft/loss incidents, accidents, or other authorized purposes.
• Ensure CCTV systems, cameras, monitors, recording devices, and related equipment are functioning properly.
• Immediately report camera failures, blind spots, recording issues, or technical problems to the concerned department/vendor.
• Monitor employee and customer movement in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy requirements.
• Coordinate with Branch Managers, Operations, Security, and Head Office regarding security-related incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of CCTV recordings and ensure footage is not shared with unauthorized persons.
• Assist management in investigating theft, cash discrepancies, property damage, workplace incidents, unauthorized access, and other security concerns.
• Prepare daily/shift-wise CCTV monitoring reports where required.
• Maintain proper records of footage requests and footage provided to authorized personnel.
• Escalate emergencies, security breaches, accidents, fights, fire incidents, or other serious events immediately.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure cameras are correctly positioned and operational.
• Follow all company security policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform any other CCTV/security-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Surveillance Officer, Security Control Room Operator, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality, warehouses, corporate offices, or multi-branch operations will be an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems.
• Ability to operate CCTV software, DVR/NVR systems, and review recorded footage.

Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years of relevant CCTV/security surveillance experience.

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
• Ability to work in a control-room environment for extended periods.
• Must remain attentive and actively monitor surveillance systems throughout the assigned shift.

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
