CCTV Operator

We are seeking a vigilant, proactive, and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to monitor security operations in the Warehouse at Konga Online Limited (Ogba). The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, detecting and reporting suspicious activities, maintaining surveillance records, supporting investigations, and ensuring the safety and security of company assets, personnel, and operations within the Warehouse and Supply Chain Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds covering warehouse operations, receiving bays, storage areas, sorting stations, loading docks, and dispatch points.
• Observe inbound and outbound warehouse activities to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and security protocols.
• Detect, document, and promptly report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, inventory pilferage, safety violations, or operational irregularities.
• Review and retrieve CCTV footage to support investigations relating to inventory discrepancies, customer complaints, operational incidents, or security breaches.
• Maintain accurate surveillance logs, incident reports, and CCTV footage records.
• Ensure CCTV cameras, recording devices, and surveillance systems are operational at all times, escalating faults for prompt resolution.
• Support inventory reconciliation exercises by providing video evidence for disputed inbound and outbound transactions.
• Monitor employee and third-party movements within restricted warehouse areas to ensure compliance with company security policies.
• Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Inventory, and Security teams to investigate incidents and improve warehouse security controls.
• Ensure CCTV footage is securely stored and managed in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
• Conduct routine surveillance audits and recommend improvements to warehouse security and operational processes.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and escalate issues in line with established reporting procedures.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

A good first degree in Criminology, Security Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or any related discipline.

Professional Qualification

Relevant certification or training in CCTV Operations, Security Management, Loss Prevention, Warehouse Security, or Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in CCTV surveillance, warehouse security, logistics operations, or a related role.

Age Requirement

23 – 35 years.

Functional / Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and warehouse security operations.
• Understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to retrieve, review, and analyze surveillance footage for operational and security investigations.
• Strong observation, analytical, and incident-reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inventory and operational risks.
• Knowledge of access control systems and warehouse safety procedures.

Pay: ₦120,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
