CCTV Operator

About the role

The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. The role involves observing live and recorded footage, identifying suspicious activities, and reporting incidents in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems in real time
• Review recorded footage when required for investigations or incidents
• Identify, document, and report suspicious or criminal activities
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning correctly and report faults promptly
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records
• Liaise with security personnel, management, and law enforcement when necessary
• Follow data protection, privacy, and confidentiality regulations
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures
