CCTV Operator

Overview:

Looking for a reliable and flexible CCTV Operative / Security Officer to work in Maidstone. The successful candidate must hold both a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and a valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence.

We are looking for someone who is professional, alert, dependable and able to start immediately. Flexibility with shifts is essential, including the ability to cover additional shifts when required.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Monitoring CCTV cameras and identifying suspicious or unusual activity.
• Maintaining accurate incident, visitor and security logs.
• Responding promptly to security incidents and escalating concerns where necessary.
• Carrying out regular security checks and patrols when required.
• Controlling access and monitoring authorised entry to the premises.
• Supporting staff, visitors and contractors in a professional manner.
• Reporting incidents, hazards, damage or breaches of security.
• Following site procedures, assignment instructions and company policies.
• Liaising with management, emergency services or relevant personnel when required.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and high standard of customer service at all times.

Requirements: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, valid SIA CCTV Licence, good communication skills, strong attention to detail, reliability, flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
