CCTV Operator – Drainage

About the role

As a CCTV Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting drainage systems, identifying faults and providing accurate CCTV recordings and reports. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a great mix of residential, commercial and infrastructure work.

Key responsibilities

• Carrying out CCTV inspections of stormwater and wastewater drainage systems
• Operating pushrod and tractor CCTV equipment
• Identifying and locating faults within drainage systems
• Producing clear CCTV recordings and reports
• Completing WinCan reports and job documentation
• Working with drainage systems from approximately 40mm through to large diameter drains
• Working across residential, commercial and infrastructure sites
• Communicating with customers and explaining findings when required
• Maintaining CCTV equipment and keeping it in good working order
• Following company Health & Safety procedures and site requirements

About you

• Has previous drainage CCTV experience
• Has experience operating CCTV inspection equipment
• Has a good understanding of stormwater and wastewater drainage systems
• Can accurately identify and report drainage faults
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is confident using computers and technology
• Has good communication skills
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Holds a full NZ driver's license
• Takes Health & Safety seriously
