Contract Type: Permanent – Full-Time and/or Part-Time Opportunities

About the Role

As our operations continue to develop, we’re looking to expand our team with the addition of a detail-oriented and motivated Digital Parking Officer. We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time permanent employment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play an important role in supporting the continued delivery of efficient, fair and consistent parking management. Working with digital monitoring systems, online reporting tools and remote enforcement technology, including HikVision systems, you’ll help us maintain high standards across our parking operations.

You’ll be responsible for reviewing digital evidence, assessing potential parking contraventions, issuing Parking Charges where appropriate, and delivering a professional standard of customer service through online channels.

Whether you’re looking for a part-time position or a full-time role with the opportunity to develop your skills, we’re keen to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic about contributing to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review parking compliance using digital systems and MNPR (Manual Number Plate Recognition) data.
  • Assess captured images and determine whether parking contraventions have occurred.
  • Issue Parking Charges (PCs) in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, case files and enforcement documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the administration and enforcement teams to support effective day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure all work complies with data protection requirements, confidentiality standards and relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and service standards as our operations continue to grow.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Accurate and detail-focused – you take pride in your work and understand the importance of making sound, evidence-based decisions.
  • Confident using technology – you’re comfortable working across multiple digital platforms and systems.
  • Organised and self-motivated – you can work independently, manage your workload and meet deadlines.
  • Calm under pressure – you can assess information objectively and make considered decisions.
  • Customer-focused – you have clear written communication skills and understand the importance of professionalism.
  • A team player – you’re keen to contribute positively to a collaborative and developing team.

Previous experience in parking enforcement, digital monitoring or local government would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. Full training will be provided to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed for the role.

What We Offer

  • Flexible employment opportunities, with full-time and part-time permanent positions available.
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.72.
  • Full training and ongoing professional development.
  • A supportive, friendly working environment.
  • The opportunity to develop your skills and grow with the organisation.
  • Company events, including our annual Christmas Party.
  • Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year recognition schemes.
  • Potential overtime opportunities during busier periods, subject to operational requirements.

Work Pattern

The role operates on a rolling shift pattern across seven days, Saturday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 07:00 and 22:00.

Shift arrangements and contracted hours will depend on the agreed full-time or part-time working pattern and operational requirements. Applicants should be comfortable with a degree of flexibility, as shift times may be subject to change and occasional cover for colleagues' absences or annual leave may be required.

Overtime may be available during busy periods.

If you’re looking to join a growing operation where accuracy, teamwork and professional development are valued, we’d love to hear from you.
