CCTV surveillance operator

To apply for this role you must have a valid SIA CCTV license.

This role involves monitoring CCTV cameras throughout Bolton hospital and car park only. Response to incidents are not required.

Some of the shift tasks will involve:

• Maintain the safety and security of patients, staff, contractors and equipment.
• Prepare and participate in clear handovers from outgoing / incoming colleagues.
• Monitor visitor access to the premises, as appropriate.
• Identify and report emergency repairs and log these through the appropriate channels.
• Take appropriate immediate action in emergency situations.
• Appropriately report any unusual behaviour or concerns to safeguard medical staff and general public.

Within the company you will receive all the support you need from our National Command Centre based in Wavertree. We believe a better performance is achieved through working as part of a team. In correspondence with this all of our staff members are very friendly and willing to support each other.

An enhanced DBS is preferred to start immediately in this role. Ideally you will have an existing certificate however if you do not we will be able to submit an application on your behalf.

Job Types: Full-time, initially unfixed term.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 19:00-07:00am.

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bolton, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SIA CCTV LICENSE (required)
• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• SIA Door Supervisor License (preferred)
