JOB DESCRIPTION: CCTV & NETWORKING TECHNICIAN

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated CCTV & Networking Technician to handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of electronic security and networking solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IP-based security products, structured cabling, and network configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Configuration: Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems (IP/Analog cameras, NVRs, DVRs) and networking equipment.
• Cable Termination: Perform neat and professional RJ45 crimping, cable termination, and testing for LAN and security networks.
• Network & IP Settings: Configure IP addresses, router settings, switch configurations, and ensure stable network connectivity for security devices.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical faults in CCTV feeds, network connectivity, and associated hardware promptly.
• Client Handling: Address customer queries, explain system operations post-installation, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Hands-on technical experience in CCTV, security systems, and networking installation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in cable crimping, termination, and management.
• Strong knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and network protocols.
• Experience in handling IP-based security products (Cameras, NVRs/DVRs, PoE Switches, Routers, etc.).
• Personal Attributes:
• Keen observation and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn continuously and keep up with new technology trends.
• Strict adherence to time punctuality and site schedules.
• Valid driving license / two-wheeler for site visits is preferred.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time / Contract
• Location: Kozhikode, Kerala (and surrounding sites)
• Working Hours: Standard business hours (flexibility required based on site requirements)

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
