CCTV Technician

Job Summary
The CCTV Operator monitors live and recorded surveillance footage to protect people, property and assets. The role detects suspicious activity, responds to incidents, coordinates with security teams and keeps accurate records in line with company policy and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds across all cameras and zones in the control room
• Detect and report suspicious behavior, security breaches, safety hazards and emergencies
• Coordinate with on-site security guards, supervisors and, when required, police or emergency services
• Log all incidents, observations and actions in the daily occurrence book or incident management system
• Retrieve, review and export footage for investigations, following data protection and chain-of-custody procedures
• Operate PTZ cameras to track people or vehicles of interest
• Monitor access control, fire alarm and intruder alarm systems integrated with the control room
• Check camera functionality daily and report faults, blind spots or poor image quality to the maintenance team
• Keep all footage and information strictly confidential
• Prepare shift handover reports and daily or weekly summaries for management
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency response plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in security management is a plus
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV monitoring or a security control room
• Valid security license or certification as required locally (e.g., SIRA certification in Dubai)
• Familiarity with video management systems (VMS) such as Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision or Dahua
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, report writing)
• Good English communication skills; Arabic or other languages are an advantage

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
