Downer is seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team in Walkley Heights, supporting the maintenance, installation and commissioning of CCTV and thermal imaging assets across South Australia's road network.

The Opportunity

Downer is seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team in Walkley Heights, supporting the maintenance, installation and commissioning of CCTV and thermal imaging assets across South Australia's road network.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across a large network of more than 1,000 cameras. You'll be involved in fault finding, upgrades, new installations and asset replacements while working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to help keep critical transport infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

• CCTV/Security Agent qualification with Cabler Registration

• Experience installing, maintaining or commissioning CCTV systems

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

• A commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  Highly regarded but not essential:

• Experience with thermal imaging systems

• ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) or electronic communications experience

• Experience working within road or traffic environments

• An SA Electrical Licence
