CCTV/GPS Operator

Job Summary

The CCTV/GPS Operator is responsible for monitoring and reviewing surveillance systems (CCTV) and GPS tracking data to ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and security protocols. The role supports the Audit team by identifying irregularities, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to ensure safety, security, and compliance within plant operations
• Track and analyze GPS data of company vehicles, equipment, or personnel
• Detect and report suspicious activities, policy violations, or operational discrepancies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and incident-based reports for the Audit team
• Maintain accurate logs of monitoring activities and findings
• Coordinate with relevant departments (Operations, HR, Security) for investigation and resolution of issues
• Assist in internal audits by providing surveillance data and supporting documentation
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report technical issues as needed
• Safeguard confidentiality of all monitored data and audit findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• With experience in CCTV monitoring, GPS tracking, or audit support is an advantage
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and basic data analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting)
• Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Willing to be assigned in plant/warehouse environment
