Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain strict infection control standards.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
• Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Epic or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Support orthodontic treatments by taking impressions, assisting with appliance placement, and providing patient education on orthodontic care.

Skills

• Proficiency with Cleardent dental software an asset.
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances is highly desirable.
• Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a front-office role is a plus.
• Ability to understand and communicate medical terminology clearly to patients and team members.
• Strong familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to provide compassionate care for young patients.
• Basic understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for assisting with dental appliance fabrication is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive patient interactions.

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
