Job Overview

Premier Logistics Group is hiring CDL-A DRY VAN drivers for a dedicated round-trip lane between Tell City, Indiana, and Cullman, Alabama. This position offers flat pay of $350 per day worked, the same pickup and delivery locations each trip, and a mix of live loading and drop-and-hook freight, will transition to full-time drop and hook.

Pay & Route Details

• Daily pay: $350 flat per day worked.
• Dedicated route: Tell City, IN → Cullman, AL → return EMPTY.
• Route distance: Approximately 303 miles each way, or 606 miles round trip.
• Consistent locations: Same pickup and delivery points each trip.
• Loading operations: A mix of live loading and drop-and-hook.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on the dedicated round-trip route.
• Meet pickup and delivery appointments while following hours-of-service requirements.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment concerns.
• Perform safe coupling, uncoupling, and trailer checks during drop-and-hook operations.
• Follow facility procedures during live loading and delivery.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, inspection records, and freight paperwork.
• Keep dispatch informed of trip progress, delays, and any issues affecting service.
• Represent Premier Logistics Group professionally at customer locations.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• 1 Year in past 3 years with dry van experience.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• A driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Safe tractor-trailer operation and sound judgment on the road.
• Familiarity with electronic logs, vehicle inspections, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Dependability, clear communication, and respect for customer appointments.
• A professional attitude toward customers, dispatch, and fellow drivers.
