Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Navigate complex routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes and local delivery zones.
• Handle logistics cargo with precision.
• secure freight properly, ensuring load stability during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with DOT regulations and truck maintenance needs.
• Deliver freight efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards; communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route adjustments or delivery updates.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, inspections, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Pay: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
