Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with state and local laws.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation safety regulations.
• Follow all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and emergency response procedures for cargo hauls/transportation.
• Manage passenger behavior through effective communication skills and behavior management techniques; address student discipline when necessary.
• Respond quickly to traffic changes or unexpected road conditions by adjusting routes or driving strategies.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, incidents, and vehicle inspections; complete shift reports diligently.

Experience

• Proven experience driving commercial trucks, reefers, dry vans '53 foot.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations at the state and local levels.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities.

Pay

• Competitive pay of $.60/per mile. Average Drivers make between $1,700 to $2,100 per week!
