CDL A DRIVER WANTED

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent driving skills, including experience with different trailer types and load handling. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Duties

• Operate trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Safely transport goods across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during transit
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles
• Hands-on experience with various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is preferred
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation is required
• Prior experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols is essential
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., Refrigerated trailer, Tanker) is mandatory
• Experience operating forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage long hours on the road while maintaining safety standards and professionalism
