CDL-A Driver / Warehouse Operations Technician

About the role

Chemcor is looking for a dependable CDL-A driver to support transportation and warehouse operations. This hands-on role combines local and regional driving with warehouse and field support. The driver will handle routine deliveries and pickups, move equipment, and assist with warehouse work when not on the road.

Work is mostly local or regional, with occasional overnight and out-of-town assignments based on operational needs. The schedule offers steady full-time hours, with overtime opportunities. The role includes entering customer terminals and refineries and following their site safety and access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailers for local and regional deliveries and pickups.
• Support time-sensitive transportation needs.
• Coordinate equipment moves, including tanker and ISO container movements.
• Assist with warehouse operations and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs when not driving.
• Support field operations as needed.
• Complete required vehicle inspections, trip records, and delivery paperwork.
• Follow company procedures and applicable DOT and transportation requirements.
• Follow customer facility safety procedures and access rules.
• Communicate promptly with operations about schedule changes, delays, equipment issues, and delivery status.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current TWIC card required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred. Applicants who do not already have both endorsements must be willing and able to obtain them as a condition of employment.
• Safe driving history and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Chemical or fuel transportation experience preferred.
• Experience with tankers, ISO containers, or chassis work is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts, nights, weekends, and overnight trips.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable helping with warehouse and field work.

Compensation and schedule

• Full-time position with steady hours.
• $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x.
• Home most nights, with occasional overnight work or travel.
• Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
