Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment for hazardous materials or automobile transportation.
• Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules across OTR routes.
• Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securement and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
• Deliver freight to various destinations while managing route driving responsibilities and maintaining communication with dispatch teams.
• Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and all safety protocols during transportation and cargo handling.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for each journey.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers.
• Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking.
• Familiarity with logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures for freight, hazardous materials, or dangerous goods.
• Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently over long distances on OTR routes.
• Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual handling expertise, and adherence to traffic laws.
• Experience in delivery driving within diverse environments including refrigerated transport or automobile transportation is a plus.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,790.42 per week
