Duties

• Respond quickly to roadside assistance calls, arriving prepared to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues on-site
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and minor mechanical fixes
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including inspecting brakes, belts, hoses, and other key components for safety and functionality
• Utilize diagnostic tools like the ohmmeter to identify electrical issues accurately
• Ensure customer safety by managing traffic control at the scene and adhering to all safety protocols during repairs
• Document all service activities clearly and accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after each job

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle problems effectively
• Experience handling hand tools, power tools, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter with precision
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward customer service
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various types of service vehicles safely
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and lift moderate loads when necessary
• Prior experience in roadside assistance or automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $23.00 - $29.84 per hour
