CDL B Driver - Sun, Mon and Thur Nights

Position type / expected hours : Full-time (Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am

Starting Wage : $20 to $24 (depending on experience) + 8% Shift Premium

Summary/Objective Load and secure customer product for transport. Assist in inspecting and packing customer product in preparation of transportation to customer facility.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up customer product in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain DOT driver log.
• Interact with customers daily in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in the inspection of customer product after heat treat process.
• Assist in packing customer product prior to shipment.
• Load and secure product on truck
• Adhere to all DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Position Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Ability to navigate roadways through use of maps/GPS/road signs.
• Ability to communicate and relay customer instructions to plant management.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate Fork truck safely.
