CDL B Drivers

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Class B Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making multiple stops to deliver food products, collecting payments, and ensuring proper documentation throughout the delivery process. The role involves working closely with a delivery helper to unload products at each stop and maintain a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Operations:

• Operate a Class B vehicle to transport food products safely and efficiently to various locations.

• Follow a scheduled route, making multiple stops as required.

• Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.

• Customer Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with customers during delivery to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.

• Collect payments and issue receipts for delivered products, ensuring accurate cash handling.

• Collaboration with Helper:

• Work closely with a delivery helper to assist in loading and unloading food products at each delivery site.

• Coordinate with the helper to ensure efficient delivery processes and maintain safety standards.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including tracking mileage, delivery times, and payment collections.

• Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during deliveries to management.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (Minimum 1 years driving experience)

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in the food service industry.

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

• The position may require working in varying weather conditions.

• 10-13 hour shift
