CDL Class A drive - (OTR + Local)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class A Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently within assigned routes. Routes include a blend of OTR and Local lanes. OTR lane = 1250 one-way miles max. OTR lanes pay $0.66/mile while the local assignments pay $250/day. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer trucks, including those with manual transmissions, to transport freight across designated local routes
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other trailer types, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of freight movement and vehicle inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with delivery routes involving freight handling (at least 3 Years experience)
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and refrigerated trailers
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation
• Strong route driving skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery schedules
• Ability to pass drug tests

Pay: $1,450.00 - $1,750.00 per week
