CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, freight handling.

Duties

• Operate trucks for the delivery of goods, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and any issues encountered during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any changes in routes.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws while driving.
• Assist in the maintenance of the truck by reporting any mechanical issues or required repairs promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in truck driving with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus but not mandatory.
• Flatbed experience but can get training
