CDL Class A Driver

We are a family-owned business looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and on time, following all applicable laws and regulations. The driver must be able to read maps on GPS, follow directions, and maintain the vehicle in good condition. A valid CDL A driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position. Requirements:

• Clean Driving Record (MVR)
• Age: 21+ years old
• Recent CDL school graduates welcomed
• Training provided
• Willing to travel interstate

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle (48' reefer)
• Follow traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate with dispatch and other drivers on the road
• Adhere to ELD regulations and hours of service required by law
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses
• Keep Bill of Lading and other paperwork in good clean condition
• Obtain signatures on the paperwork and pictures at the pickup and delivery locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for any mechanical issues
• Deliver and unload product safely and courteously
• Strengthen and develop relationships with customers, you are the face of our Company
• Effectively meet customer demands with a sense of urgency
• Operational performance in the following areas: USDOT regulations, health and safety, vehicle care, inspection and maintenance, work standards, procedures and policies, and customer satisfaction
• Unloading of delivery trucks – requires physical moving/lifting of products with a hand cart

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a delivery driver and willingness to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Accuracy and attention to detail are a must
• Excellent customer service skills and time-management skills
• Demonstrated safe driving record
