CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently using a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage the loading and unloading of goods.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, to transport freight to designated locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details as required by regulations.
• Navigate routes effectively while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any issues that arise during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving tractor-trailers and dump trucks preferred.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
