CDL Class A Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A truck driver to join our team for a regional driver position. As a CDL A truck driver you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations utilizing primarily flatbed trailers. This is a vital role in our organization as you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely secure loads to trailers in preparation for transport, most loads will be strap and go with occasional tarping may be required (Extra pay for company drivers for tarp loads)

• Safe operation of trucks and equipment including pre-and post trips, safely securing all loads, and safely delivering all loads following customer and job site safety requirements.

• Time management is a must to ensure safe and on-time delivery of all loads

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

• Communication is a MUST, to ensure the upmost in customer satisfaction.

• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and maintenance reports

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck

• Must read, write, and speak English

Skills:

• Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving record

• Proven experience as a CDL A driver or similar role

• Ability to operate safely operate trucks and handle equipment to ensure longevity of the equipment

• Familiarity with load securement techniques, we will train you and assist along the way

• Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions

• Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries

• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

• Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload goods as required

• Proficient in completing necessary paperwork accurately

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as any random drug testing that is required per the random draws
