CDL Class A Driver / Flatwork Concrete Laborer

**Valid CDL-A REQUIRED as well as a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD for the last 3 YEARS to be considered for this position.

*This position requires you to labor with the crew and drive a dump truck pulling a trailer.

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Driver and Flatwork Concrete Laborer, where you will play a vital role in transporting materials and supporting heavy construction and telecommunications projects. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to various job sites.
• Assist with the preparation and layout of flatwork and foundation materials, including concrete pouring and finishing.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment necessary for concrete placement.

· Grade the area to prepare for setting the forms.

· Set the forms.

· Pour concrete into the forms.

o Spread, level, and smooth the concrete.

· Finishing concrete as instructed.

· Cure and seal as needed.

· Assist Finishers

· Place concrete by various means:

o Wheelbarrow

o Drag with a rake

· Set forms

· Grade slabs

· Get tools ready for placement, wash, put them away

· Drill/saw concrete

· Take out concrete load

· Stock trucks and trailers with supplies needed daily

· Must be able to lift and move 80 pounds.

Experience

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

· Willingness to learn every day.

· Ability to work with a team.

· Must be familiar with these machines and equipment:

o Skid loader

o Hammer

o Shovel

o Power trowel

o Hand trowel

· Must be willing to work in extreme heat and extreme cold.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
