CDL Class A Local Driver

Dedicated Intermodal driver. Home Daily. Inland Empire, CA.

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated intermodal account running the Inland Empire and LA area. This position is for experienced drivers only, with a 3-month minimum experience requirement. Home time is daily with a 10-hour break. Average 3-6 loads per day. Immediate openings - 4 solo positions available.

PAY

• $1,400 - $1,800 average weekly earnings
• $19.25 per hour, plus $18.71 per stop
• Sign on bonus: $2,500
• Performance based bonuses
• Weekly mileage: 1,500-1,700 average
• Paid weekly

JOB DETAILS

• Position: Full-Time - Intermodal
• Equipment: Intermodal containers
• Freight: Preload and drop and hook - no driver-assist loads
• Running area: Inland Empire and LA area - 5 ramps out of Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington, plus Up North runs to Shafter and Lebec, CA
• Home Time: Daily, 10-hour break
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday schedules
• Holiday work optional

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• 3-month minimum verifiable CDL-A driving experience required
• Must live within 25 miles of zip code 92407 (San Bernardino, CA area)
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• No special endorsements required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a Class A truck hauling intermodal containers secured on chassis
• Run assigned routes via auto-dispatch - routes are not driver-selected
• Complete Up North runs to Shafter and Lebec, CA as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch on pickup, delivery, and trip progress
