Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL - Class A Tanker Driver to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate specialized tanker trucks across over-the-road routes, delivering freight efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations with tanker attachments, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and hazardous materials tanks
• Navigate routes using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes
• Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations
• Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods or hazardous substances
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Load, secure, and unload cargo with attention to logistics cargo handling procedures

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving
• Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including manual handling techniques
• Familiarity with refrigeration units, hazardous materials handling, and dangerous goods regulations
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely
• Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials regulations
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance

Pay: $75,500.00 - $91,100.00 per year
