CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and delivering freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, timely deliveries, and excellent driving skills, including experience with various trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks. Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
• Transport goods via route driving, ensuring timely deliveries to customers and distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or refrigerated trailers as required
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during trips
• Follow all safety protocols related to driving, load securement, and vehicle maintenance

Skills

• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
• Experience operating various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Proficiency in manual transmission driving
• Strong knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route planning
• Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Prior experience in commercial driving, delivery routes, or tractor-trailer operation preferred
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
