CDL Class A Truck Driver

Overview

Looking for a safe, reliable, honest, CDL Class A Truck Driver with a minimum of 2 yrs OTR experience in either Dry Van or Flatbed Freight located in the Florence Kentucky area. No accidents, No more than 2 minor traffic violations in the past 3 yrs, no DUI or drug violations.

We are looking for an individual that would like to become an essential part of our trucking company family and help us expand in the next few years.

We are planning to relocate our trucking business to the Florence Kentucky area and are looking for an individual that has the potential to be a key member of the business.

Starting pay will be 25-30 percent of Gross truck revenue for dry van or flatbed - driver earnings should be $2000-$3000 per week based on driver performance and clock management. Bonuses possible based on performance

We are a small business so we currently do not offer health insurance but it’s possible in the future

We will do our best to route trucks back to home base Florence for weekend 34 hr resets - drivers do have the option to stay out longer for higher earning potential

In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight to various destinations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your commitment to safety and efficiency, will help us maintain our reputation for reliable service. Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, Dry Van or flatbeds, across long-distance routes while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize travel time
• Ensure proper cargo handling and securement
• Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazmat guidelines if endorsed to haul this type of freight
• Deliver freight accurately to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and proper functioning of all equipment
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record; experience with automatic transmission is helpful.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments
• Knowledge of Dry Van or flatbed trailer operations
• Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning and adjustments
• Skilled in truck loading/unloading procedures, cargo handling
• Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and safety protocols for over-the-road trucking
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service
