CDL Class A Truck Driver/Self Loader Crane Operator

$12,000 Sign-on bonus

· Compensation Range $30.00 to $35.00/hr

• OVERTIME AFTER 8HRS/DAY AND ON DECLARED EMERGENCY WORK once training period is complete

· Relocation assistance up to $7,000 including two months’ rent*

Shifflet Brothers, located in Oroville, CA, is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Driving Team as Self-Loader Operators.

The workweek is Monday – Friday, some Saturday/Sundays of full-time, year-round work, and Emergency Work.

Position Requirement:

· Valid CDL Class A License

· Clean DMV Report

· Minimum of 3 Years of experience driving tractor/trailer equipment.

· Must always be professional with a customer service-driven attitude.

· Have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

· Must be comfortable using smartphones, iPad, apps, and other programs.

· Flexible when overnights are required.

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug test after hire.

· Pass a criminal background check.

Safety:

· Ensure a safe and productive work environment.

· Participate in safety training and accident prevention programs.

· Daily Safety tailboard meetings.

· Comply with all OSHA, DOT regulations, Company AND Customer safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

*Be able to pass DOT physical exam and a Fit for Duty physical

*Be able to lift, carry, push, pull 50 pounds

*Climb up and down ladders and in and out of truck cab multiple times a day

*Endurance and alertness for long hours of driving

*Dexterity with good hand grip strength

*Flexibility for bending and squatting throughout the day

Work Environment:

Temperature controlled cab of truck and outside exposure to varying degrees of weather including rain, snow, fog and extreme hot and cold temperatures

Experience Preferred for Self-Loader Equipment
