CDL Class A/B Driver- EQUIPMENT HAULING

Job Overview

We are seeking a Class A & B CDL driver with experience in hauling equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate different types of vehicles. A commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service is essential.

Duties

• Operate a variety of vehicles and machinery to transport freight.
• Execute route driving with precision, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary for efficient handling.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficiency in various driving conditions.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of route planning and navigation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies regarding safety and conduct.
