CDL Class B Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a roll off truck hauling open top dumpsters. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The right driver will ensure timely delivery and pick of dumpsters while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely transport dumpsters to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of various truck types.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
