CDL Class B Driver – Metro NY

A Class B CDL Driver will be responsible for delivering, stacking, and tracking products. Candidate must have a VALID CLASS A or B COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE.

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Function: Transportation

Reports to: Transportation Supervisor

Description of Essential Job Functions:

• Unload & load freight off/on trailers; lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally)
• Must be willing to deliver to both upstairs & downstairs locations
• Provide customers with exceptional service
• Thoroughly match invoices to orders to prevent any shorts
• Safe operation of all company equipment
• Perform vehicle inspections required under section 396.13 of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations
• Maintain a current Class A or B CDL
• Perform other duties as assigned

Delivery Areas:

• NYC + boroughs, NJ, PA
• Home every night

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to operate 26′ automatic straight truck
• Possess and maintain a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Safe driving record and history
• Pass DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals
• Up-to-date Medical Certificate
