CDL Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including box trucks, flatbeds, and tractor trailers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, and tractor trailers.
• Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Handle freight securely during loading and unloading processes.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B) is required.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.
• Familiarity with various truck types including box trucks, flatbeds, and tractor trailers is preferred.
• Ability to load/offload trucks in accordance with routes.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is prefered.
• Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
