CDL Driver

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and other trucks. Your expertise in driving, load & unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including but not limited to, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and other trucks across designated routes
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the road
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation

Experience

• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on commercial driving environments
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus
• Prior delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• Ability to operate forklifts for loading/unloading when required
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures and freight handling best practices
• Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements for different vehicle types

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
