CRITICAL FUNCTIONS AND UNDERLYING TASKS:

Mid-American Glass CDL Drivers are responsible for performing the following critical functions and underlying tasks:

• On**-**time delivery of glass product
• Ability to load and unload goods
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Working with a heightened level of focus on SAFETY
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

REQUIRED KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum age of 21
• 1-year CDL_B driving experience within the past 3 years
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, interstate DOT medical card
• Has not been disqualified to drive
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Class B License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions: Work involves lifting of materials and products up to 75lbs independently. Employees are required to wear safety equipment to include but not limited to; cut-resistant sweaters and gloves, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and other as required. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
